Based on my own life experiences and years in business, I have learned that when we compromise our personal integrity, it affects our ability to succeed in every sense of the word. On the other hand, when we practice the habit of personal leadership, we are taking the initiative, setting an example to others and making a difference in all our relationships. No matter how high tech the world has become, the future or our organizations will continue to depend on great leadership that is able to provide support and commitment to developing a deeper appreciation of its workforce. Education is the first step in terms of increasing understanding regarding our values as individuals. I believe that character is ultimately more important than what we do for a living. As the famous poet “anonymous” once said “Many an open mind should be closed for repairs!” By adjusting our attitudes, rethinking our approaches, mastering our communication skills and remembering to focus on those things that are most important, our lives truly becomes richer.
